Hello...........and a question

Hello All,
New MV owner, long time bike guy. Finally got my hands on a Gen1 F4 1000cc.

Question; lm interested in this Arrow mid pipe for my MV, the seller says it doesnt need a chip upgrade, is there anyone with personal experience of this midpipe,with/without chip change, also does ot make it louder?

May or may not need tuning....will be a bit more sound....and a lot less heat and weight.

Get it and see.

What year is it?

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

I ran the mid-pipe with the stock header/silencer combo for years without a chip with no issues.

Hello Turbo329, Did you find that the mid pipe lived up to its claims of '' approximate increase of 4 hp with better low end throttle response''

Especially the latter part?

Welcome to the forum.
Not all bikes share the same tune, so unless you're doing a "before/after" tune on a Dyno, you'll not know if it gives you 4 more horsepower, improved throttle responce might be in the similiar situation mate.

For a year I ran a decat midpipe with stock headers and mufflers on my 1000S.

I eventually went to one of Adam's (Mer07 here on the forum) chips but it ran fine with the standard chip.
