New F4 750 Senna

Hi All,

Briefly, bought a 2002 Senna with 8800 kms from WA (after brief inspection from local Ducati dealer) and had it shipped to QLD.(Sorry Ivan)

It turned up and was everything you could hope for.
This bike had been in storage for ten years so brakes had to be cleaned, fuel lines and fittings replaced and oil changed.

New battery and it started ! ( that was a big relief) and ran a bit rough for the first 20 or so k's then cleaned itself up.
Paint has a couple of small stone chips but is otherwise fantastic. The stone chips are not a worry as I intend to ride it regularly.
One issue that had to be resolved was to clean the master cylinders on both brakes and clutch ensuring the tiny bleed back holes were clear as the front brakes kept getting progressively tighter.

The bike came with 2 sets of wheels.
The wheels on it have red spokes and had the rest painted? black.
I am thinking these were the original wheels.

The 2nd set have red spokes and centre of rim and the rest is painted silver. From photos on the net I am thinking these are ORO wheels. They are gold on the back where they bolt onto the hubs, this has not been painted.

On a different note, the crate I received the bike in may hold some history for someone with a special bike.
This is the crate the bike was sent to WA in from The Paul Seeney Group in late 2005.

Nice bike there.

(All of your pictures appear either upside down or rotated to some degree...at least to me. Are you posting with an Apple product?)

Very nice!

Arguably, and to me, the best looking MV or motorcycle ever produced.

Good get and enjoy that beauty!
