F4 Mileage thread

Didn`t find a thread of this so decided to ask. How many miles/km on your F4 and what has had to be done to it? If anything.

I've come to the conclusion that you're too lazy to search or look for anything "FF".

Wink

Yeah but what about highest mileage for a given period of time. I imagine it 312km for an hour but what about a day or week?

It's a rehashed question; like: what oil, what tire pressure, what tyres, what bike should I buy......

It recycles every few months and the same people, who actually ride, respond with I've got X plus whatever ...

So what? If he wants to know he asks. Who cares? Who does not like it, just avoids it. Live and let live instead of this stupid over controling nonsense.

Anyway... My F4 1078 has almost 24000 km, so big maintenance coming ahead. Besides mods no special maintenance so far. Valves were checked at 15000 km. Still on original chain and sprockets.
In the next maintenance valve check again and I suspect that the cam chain tensioners need to be replaced.

What a beast of a motorcycle!
It growls and rages and flies across the tarmac like a wild animal that has escaped the confinement of a cage and after merely waiting restlessly until the release, will not endure being locked up ever again.

Skye I miss you. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.

Are you gona change the camchain too? Im just in the middle of making my own manual tensioner. If i have time to finish it before summer, i was gona give it a try. Maybe change the camchain at the same time since its done 39k. Alltough it makes no abnormal sound yet, and the chain followers seem like new.
