2006 F4 Senna buying question

Hi,

I'm about to check out a 2006 MV Agusta F4 Senna.

I'm thinking, how do I know it's an original and not a replica? They are numbered, but does the number also reflect in it's VIN?

Does the Senna come with a Certificate or anything special /I'm talking about the paperwork, manual, etc./ other than the regular F4?

What worries me, the seller says the bike is very clean with around 7,800 miles and the asking price is only $6,500. What doesn't seem right to me at all.

Thx-

Sounds like a Senna which has been on here before, not sure if it was repaired or something like that, was missing the Plaque if I remember correctly. It does come with a certificate and you should be able to confirm it with the vin number. There's a couple of things unique to the Senna, like the wheels and footpegs as well as some carbon parts. Better hurry, if it's good that's a great price, even if it's only a custom 1000R.

Great,

the bike was listed for sale in Los Angeles. I sent an e-mail to the person and got a response. She bought the bike in U.S. and moved to Europe. The MV now resides in Italy. She says the law in Italy is different to register a motorcycle that is outside of Europe and it's really difficult and expensive - now that's the reason she's selling it. She offering to cover the transport cost via AIR CARGO and says I can pay after the inspection of the motorcycle /by me in the U.S./.
Few questions. If I'm a seller even of a 1:12 MV Agusta model, I wouldn't let it out of my hands before receiving a payment. And not some 9K miles from my home and $6,500. Even the price is very cheap. Something doesn't add up.

Here's the link where I found it for sale.

You know what hey say about things sounding too good to be true?

This is a scam.

But David, you are too good to be true...yet you are.

I mean, it's not like a nubian princess is trying to sell it.

Getting an MV road legal with all paperwork in Italy for an originally exported bike is not overly difficult or expensive (ask me how I know haha) and a clean low mileage 1000 Senna in Italy is worth way more than in America. Probably about double. It's a scam

Googling (is that a word?) some of the key phrases in the advertisement - I used "tank riding house japan eMoto custom titanium exhaust awesome" - you'll discover that this bike is listed in so many locations that it's nigh on impossible to be bothered reading them all.

But looking at a few you'll soon discover that there is conflicting information such as price and location of the bike.
The VIN appears to be ZCGAKFGM77V100480. Googling that VIN is also interesting
I have attached an example below that shows conflicting information.

My advice would be: Do not contact the seller (sorry, scamming prick) again no matter how many Sennas they promise to ship to you from Italy....
