Exclamation Battery

Hello everyone

I'm on the hunt for a F4 dry cell battery. What's like the most popular batt's out there for the F4 1000? Can I get a couple pictures of your guy's setups.

Hi,

Welcome on... I use Odyssey--they are military spec, the best batteries made... My gallery has shots of the install for a Brutale maintaining all original wiring.

Cheers!

Why do you need a special charger?

What did you have to do to make it fit? I see the dimensions are slightly different than the OEM Yuasa.

Hi, just got back from Miami beach, have been out for the last week or so... Nice ride back (on BMW) in the middle of a Monsoon, luckily missed the tornadoes in Tampa! Almost took the Brutale, but given the HORRIBLE weather on return, glad I didn't!

Sent you a PM with some add'l info... Most is in my pics for Brutale. Others have mounted in F4. From my pics, you can see that the fitment is pretty close to stock.

Thus far I've had no need to change any of bikes in which I've installed Odyssey. These batteries HOLD a charge for a LONG time... I got my battery off eBay from a reputable merchant--after Enersys gave me a free one to guinea pig for the MVFAQ. That one ended up in my track bike--it was delivered at about the same time as the bike, and who wants to wait to break in for a lead cell to soak?!?!? Not me!

Odyssey batteries come already charged, so my experience has been 100% plug and play... Thus far three bikes have them, including the BMW that ran through one hell of a storm from Jennings, FL to Macon, GA on 1-4 AM Sunday morning all the while running brights and 250 Watts of PIAA 510 halogen hellfire! You know it's bad when your boots fill with water so it's squirting out the tops as you step to the gas pump... Good times...

PC-310--Please let us know how you like it once installed!

Cheers,
Jason
