Interesting also with the 312 at the moment. They are selling in the UK from £11,800 to £14,000.

The gloves are off, cut yourself a good deal!

Yes I agree, not a colour I would go for, but I have seen a few around.

Wow. That's an incredibly good price. If they were going that cheap when I bought my secondhand 750 last year I would have gone for one of those.

A parallel import isn't a big deal these days, especially from within the European Union. My 750 was originally sold in Italy before being resold in the UK and it's never had to have anything done to it for compliance. And you don't even need change the speedo of course as it switches between km and miles anyway.

My insurance company didn't care that both my 748 and MV are parallel imports as they're both models that are sold in the UK officially. (Actually I never had any problems with my CBR400RR that wasn't, either.)

Thinking of getting one of these, do you think there may be problems when it comes to servicing?

Should be no problems. This is still an MV Agusta motorcycle and will be covered under the same factory warranty as a UK bike etc. Don't let people tell you otherwise. Loads of people buy bikes and cars abroad these days. My neighbour has jousr bought a Landrover Defender form Italy, brand new and its right hand drive. Landrover dealers and Landrover UK still sort out any warranty issues!

Also, I heard that the same dealer might be getting a selection of 312's from Italy soon! Be interesting to see the price!!!!
