New addition.

After years of lurking and lusting, I added a 2008 white MV to the stable.

1,349miles, All stock except for after market levers, tidy tail, and carbon fender.

The bike came with a box of virgin aftermarket bodywork, 3m clear film, Axel sliders and stock battery tender. Any issues/concerns using the stock tender?

Originally owner was from Texas who put on around 1,100 miles. The bike was then shipped to Vermont, where the current owner put 200 miles on it in roughly two years!

It was dropped on the left side but everything was replaced, except the tank which has a small scratch.

I need to source a new white tank and an exhaust!

I welcome any tips for a newb in the MV world!

Pics on the way!

Beauty.

Can you post a picture of the damage to the tank please.

Looking great! Like the seat. Can't the tank be resprayed??

What a beast of a motorcycle!
It growls and rages and flies across the tarmac like a wild animal that has escaped the confinement of a cage and after merely waiting restlessly until the release, will not endure being locked up ever again.

I attached the picture from the CL add.

The damage to the tank is underneath the carbon fiber bandaid.

I haven't had time this weekend to remove it and look underneath.

I could leave it but it doesn't look correct to me.

Thanks for all the complements!
