Thumbs up oil cooler fan damage

hi folks, since takiing the fairings off the 312, ive noticed that the fan bracket on the right hand side of the bike has been touching the exhaust !! has anyone else found this or has it not been noticed ? i assume that either the assembly is getting pushed back with the airflow or the fairings pull it all in ? anyway ive taken the right hand bolt out of the main bracket on the engine itself, then placed a washer under the bracket, then retightened the lot up again, theres much more room now so it shoudnt touch any thoughts ?

We assume the fan is melted on the ends?
The affectiveness of the fan is diminished.

If so this thread shall help http://www.mvagusta.net/forum/showth...ght=muzzy+fans

Thumbs up fan bracket

hi, no the fans didnt melt, no damage to them, but it was the bracket that supports them, its worn or chaffed thru the one nearest the no3 pipe.
