Funny 312R article

Hi all,

I just read a very funny, but will no doubt be controversial. It is in our latest Motorcycle News Magazine in Austrlai, and the writer allways pushes the boundaries.
To put it into context he is not a small guy, and the picture is of him with his pants down, kissing the rear of the 321R seat, while in a "funny" position near the tail pipes.

I will request that a computer literate Aussie copies this and posts it in full, but here are some snipetts.

It starts

"True clarity of purpose are only rarely granted to men in their short time on this Earth...... seeing 303Km/h on my speedo blessed me with one such instance.......all my spiritual anguish was rent assunder by the supernatural howl of an MV Agusta R 312 on full noise and flushed down the screaming sinkhole of speed for speeds sake."

"How I came to be doing this speed is not relevant"... "Mv Agusta is not party to politically correct pandering, and has proudly and righteously built a motorcycle that states its top speed on the tank, the tailpiece and the mirrors. And you can all eat shit and die if that offends you"

He goes on to describe is "spiritual ride" over the Snowy Mountains.....

"The 312 is a machine that accelerates as hard from 200 to 300 as it does from 100 to 200. It just sounds angrier and angrier, but gets smoother and smoother as the speed rises. It's stability is uncanny and I will swear to you on the forgotten graves of my ancestors that is felt perfectly pleased (and even eager) to be pinned to the stop and screaming from its four ARROW pipes"......
........" At those speeds all you can hear is the booming assault of the wind, the 312R's demonic howl and the rasping hell-shriek that passes for an exhaust note on this instrument of madness"

He goes on and then summarises....

" I actually bent down and kissed the tank".......... " My love for the MV Agusta marque is a badge I wear with pride. No other motorcycle brand fills me with such pornograhic lust and no other brand can touch the MV in terms of asspirational desire.".....
" An MV Agusta seems to be built for just this spiritually enriching purpose"....

and he concludes....

"It is not a bike you can be lazy on. Its not a bike you can be uncertain on."....." But it is a motorcycle you can ride like no other."
"And its a bike that will show you things you have never seen before"...

"But you have to want to see them first."

So that's is a small piece but you get the idea. How is that for passion in tester in a magazine? We are lucky down here to have guys that write like this, I thought you would enjoy it.

wow that is awesome! Our mags here in the states would complain about the price, about how it has this or doesnt have that.. nothing about the ride.

I believe she is the Devil in a candy wrapper.

No Admin it is not on the cover. I hope someone up loads it for you.

Diva80, yeah I can't stand those bike mags that bitch and moan about stupid little things, when you get up into MV territory it is more an emotional decison than a logical one, and it is hard to explain that to others who are viewing their purchases logically.

Yup those are the ones, the people that bitch "The MV Still has a manual wire cable for throttle how last year. This is the reason all MV's are rubbish. I want nothing to do with them due to this." WTF guys, do you honestly think someone dropping the kind of cash it takes to buy an MV is really going to care that the new latest and greatest Jap bikes dont have a cable for throttle? no.. I think not.

Honestly is there any motorcycle purchase not emotional?

I believe she is the Devil in a candy wrapper.
