F41000 Corse Base

Hi all

Has anyone got one of these or know much about them? Im just about to pick up an F4100s but having some unexpected funds avaliable means i may be more interested in a more exclusive model. They are listed as being avaliable for £16000 here in the Uk. Apparently only three hundred were made. Any info welcome!

Cheers Will

The Corse? The Corse edition is a "kit" that you can purchase in addition to your F4 1000S. I'm not entirely sure of the price, around 6-8,000$ USD. Check your dealer to see if you can order a kit (maybe there are some still available?) or you can up the ante and go for an F4 1000R Corse

Basically its all the bodywork with the corse edition look (nose/sides/belly/gas tank/tail/front fender, etc).

Like Alvin said the "Corse" is just a kit you can install on any F4

If you want an exclusive MV F4 and have money to spend get a Veltro or a C.C.

If you just want a kick ass F4 get an 312R and save lots of $$ on the "corse" kit.

just my 2 cents

If you REALLY want exclusive (you did say you had some unexpected funds. ...) I'd say go for the F4 CC.. .

You could have one of only 100 and the undying envy of all of us on this forum.

I used to be fast....now I just dream about it.

Hi thanks for the responses - im still a little confused though- this is a link to the bike shop where im getting the F41000s from - their website has a picture with description of the F4 corse base - it looks really good - but not really heard anything about it, or read about it on here so not sure of its value for money - particularly as i would have to part ex my f4 750 as well where as if i get the 1000s i can afford to keep the 750!!

I don't know why you're still confused

That pic and description is about an F4 Corse Base.
I mean, it's a regular F4S 1000 in which the dealler just installs a "Corse" base kit, i.e. fairings, gas tank and mono or biposto tail section.

I think what you're looking for is this: There is NO DIFFERENCE between your F4 1000 and the CORSE kit except the paint and an alarm/seat on the Corse, for about a $7,000 premium. NO PERFORMANCE UPGRADES, NO DIFFERENCE, JUST PAINT.

Buy the F41000S and keep the 750, there's no point to a Corse kit, and no-one will pay the extra for it. If you decide you absolutely LOVE it and want it, purchase the kit someday yourself and bolt on the parts. That said, I agree that the Corse paint scheme is gorgeous, but certainly not worth what you would pay for it. If you're goint to add that much to your purchase, go buy a 312 and forget the S.

Does that help?

B

First it was available on the F4 1000
Then on the R, and now on the 312R
