Charging the battery on an F4

Hi guys,

Still waiting for the manual for my recently bought F4 and wondered if anyone could help me. The battery needs a charge and I wonderedif I just connect a charger to the white plug terminal to charge it, or do I need to disconnect/do something first.

Cheers,

James

I forgot to add, I'm planning on using an Oxford Oximiser. Will this be okay, if so should I connect it directly to the external cable plug under the bikes seat and keep it trickle charging?

I have always connected the charger directly to the battery. Just as a safe precaution I never turn on the bike with the charger connected.
