F4 1000S newbie

At sixty years old, I bought my first motorcycle. Now some months later, as expected, the 2006 F4 1000S delivers full excitement. Not sure if it was first or second ride when I broke my personal top speed on a bike. Theoretically, I am more risk averse now compared to my fearless years. Major plus, my wife allows the F4 indoors between rides.

My previous experience was most entirely in the 1970's when I would borrow bikes from my brother and his friends. I rode most all of the fastest bikes of the period.

Major kudos to Adam, (merc07), for developing a great ECU chip. There is no hint of over heating. After a few hundred miles experience with Adam's ECU, I have to strongly recommend his work.

Welcome! Enjoy the bike!

What a beast of a motorcycle!
It growls and rages and flies across the tarmac like a wild animal that has escaped the confinement of a cage and after merely waiting restlessly until the release, will not endure being locked up ever again.

Skye I miss you. L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux.

You need to clear out all the other stuff in the room... Art does not like distractions...

Welcome to the forum. You will love that bike...

Welcome to the forum mate. An MV is truly a work of art that can also be ridden. I spend a lot of time in the garage just enjoying the view!!

Also, need to mention that I wanted an MV Agusta back in about 1977. After being distracted, following through on the long lost desire made great sense to me.

What a nice story.
Take care and welcome to the forum.

It ain't what you ride, it's the way you ride it.
