Anyone with an F41000S ?

With a cold engine, can someone try the following.

Engine stop switch on (so start is disabled)
Ignition on
After the rpm sweep, select a gear

Do the fans come on ?

Cheers
Adam

If you are having trouble sleeping go and read the manual and see if you can figure out the connection between the neutral switch and the fans !

I'm supposed to be working

I have no trouble sleeping i am just not sleepy.
The problem could be a fuse.
Look at the bright side at least the bike wont get hot with the fans starting at 0 Celsius...lol...

Its not a fuse, everything is working.
The fans turn off if I release the kill switch so they are not on all the time !

The diodes are OK, already checked them although not using the procedure in the manual - that makes no sense what so ever, where does the 1.4 - 1.5v come from ?

Any how, it does the same with the diodes unplugged.

The clutch switch doesn't work but that's probably because its a pressure switch
I can start it in gear with the stand up and the clutch switch shorted.

The original fault was no neutral light so couldn't start it as the clutch switch doesn't work, the neutral came back on it's own but then I noticed the fans - wasn't sure if it was normal or part of the problem ?
