I keep burning my right side boot

So I have the MV corse slip on by Arrow on my F4r. my problem is that by installing the slip on you not longer have the exhaust guard and the heel guard is too small, I keep burning my right side boot to the point of melting the inert part I need to find a solution to this problem.

Not an elegant solution, but I had the same problem on my track bike, so I wrapped the exhaust with exhaust wrap.

Can you post a picture of the pipe where you are having the problem? A longer "heal guard" might indeed be the answer! -Davis
