Exclamation Starter issues

HI All,

Just had major service and replaced new Yuasa Battery, Started fine when I first picked it up and then decided to do for a ride today. Turn on ignition all checks fine. Press ignition button - Nothing. Turn bike off and then back on again starts. Went for small city ride and stopped for about 30 mins. Same thing but this time had to turn off twice. Got it started and then went for hour plus ride and no problems since. Could this be due to new spark plugs as well and need to ride it for a while?

Appreciate any comments or thoughts.

Cheers.

Spark plugs don't need running in mate, if it's doing nothing after you turned it on the first time, check the wiring under your ignition switch, there's been a few cases of a wiring problem on the F4's loom, just under the actual key holder if you want to call it that.

I would certainly check that the service tech connected all things electrical properly. Check for proper torque on the ground and positive battery connections...and that all wires were properly connected.

Oh, and put that battery on a trickle charge for at least 24 hours to ENSURE it is initialized correctly.

Thanks all for the responses checked all the recommendation and re seated all fuses. Appears to have sorted it. Will give it a good outing on the weekend, weather permitting.
