Exhaust valve error

Hey guys, I have a worn exhaust valve servo which I am going to replace and the cables are a bit frayed as well. I was just wondering if I even need the cables since there is no actual exhaust valve with the aftermarket exhaust. I want to get rid of the error code on the dash and was wondering if the new servo will still bring up a code if there are no cables?

Thanks

Yes, the new servo will eventually bring in the error as it is driven by indexing the servo.

Ok...so I need the new servo and probably some new cables wouldn't hurt either and then get the dealer to index it....should that take care of the issue?

Thanks for the quick reply btw

Read this: https://www.mvagusta.net/forum/129-m...error-fix.html

You can spend your money doing that, or you can do a little research in the various threads that talk about the servo error and HealTEc and other resources.

I am told by the dealer that the servo itself has worn gears. I can hear sort of a fast clicking sound from it when I let the bike idle for a little bit. So I'm not sure that removing the cables is going to solve the problem. I have been looking at possibly a HealTech solution to remove everything but they don't sound like they work very consistently. I don't see my 2016 F4rr show up on HealTech's website either.

Just try, remove cables from the servo and check.
