MuRRumbidgee and RRadio telescopes

After some unnecessary, but ultimately advantageous prevaraction on my part and some logisitc delays, I have an F4 to keep the Turismo Veloce company, a 2016 RR. Thanks to Damien at MV Parramatta and Henry at Moto Tecnica for their advice and patience; and to NigelRB the Wor Cest Shire Aussie and Glenno locally for their encouragement.

I took my RR for a 160 klm (100 mile) ride yesterday, on twisty rural roads that eventually become dirt. I am very impressed & happy, and somewhat surprised. More civilised and comfortable than I thought it would be, tractable easy to use power, and in spite of a number of magazine and internet articles I had read, the suspension has no problem with 'strine country roads that are nowhere near track quality.

The biggest surprise though came at the servo. Not the young fella who came over to tell me it was beautiful, or the young mum looking at it like it was choclate, but the 18.9 klms per litre! That is more than 50 imperial MPG, or about 5.5 litres per 100 klm, or, as the tank is 17 litres, about 320 klms/200 miles a tank. I certainly did not expect it to be so economical, given that I was being a little, but not too, enthusiastic. Bloody ripper.

My only regret is that I waited so long. I have gome from never even having ridden an MV, to owning two, in about 5 months. Viva MV.

Looks great! You've scored well.

Was it a local one or from interstate?
