Any tips appreciated

Greetings, recently acquired a 2015 MV F4 base model. From reading the forums, there seems to be confusion on many of the software settings (auto upshift/downshift, traction control, power management, etc.). Is there a recommended software version, or any kind of rule of thumb on settings? Thanks in advance for any useful info.

For suspension settings I'd take them to a shop and get the sag set properly. The power and throttle sensitivity settings are very user dependent.

Your bike will only come with the upshift since the sensor is only one directional. You'll have to get a two directional sensor and something to change the code within the ECU itself to enable the blipper downshift. If that's something you're interested in, I highly recommend ECU Studio.

Other than that I've found most of the settings to be lower number = less intrusive and higher number = more intrusive so get exploring!
