F4RC Race Kit. Mufflers have dents

Some of you guys might remember my original thread.
http://www.mvagusta.net/forum/showth...=166450&page=5

I just got my kit today. Checked out the mufflers and saw that both are dented on the top . Did anyone else have this problem with their race kit?

I'll check mine now.
Loctite your side stand bolts also, mine were so loose the bike nearly went over.

Mine are dent free although I did get one out and when I put it back in the bag, it fell out the end and put a large dent in the box. It isn't a bag, it's open ended.

That sucks, especially after having waited so long, does it look like it could have happened in the box or prior to packing?

That's the hidden side, no? No one will see that once mounted. Very nice cans, reminds me of the ones on the Duc

Probably true but why should you have to pay 30k+ for a motorcycle, wait 5 months for parts to turn up that were supposed to be with the bike in the first place and then put up with them being damaged?

Wouldn't surprise me if this was a race kit that was returned to MV due to the damage and they are sending them back out to customers in hope that they will accept them because they can't get replacements as they owe Termignoni money?

Battery charger still missing? Even more reason to believe this is a damaged returned race kit?
I'd check nothing else is missing from the kit?

I called MV this morning spoke to Jay. He said that he has emailed MV Agusta in Italy and they responded , saying they will get out the replacement parts as soon as possible. Also the rear seat cowl has a scratch. When I first saw it I said to myself no big deal , I can buff it out myself, but bad news is the scratch is underneath the clear coat. It looks like the red is scratched and the paint shop cleared it over. So I cannot buff it out.

I hope MV Agusta is quick in getting me two new mufflers , new rear seat cowl, and last the battery charger for my $50K bike.
