Purchase of an F4rr

I am debating the idea of purchasing a 2016 F4RR but with the current state of the company I am wanting opinions if this might be a mistake.

I currently have a 2011 F4 with a Bodis exhaust and I love this bike!

Any suggestions or comments welcome....thanks

there should be parts enough to keep these bikes running for the next couple three years even if they stop production, IMO...I'd say go for it. With any luck, MV lives on and continues to support owners. There are plenty of suppliers attached to this forum to support as well.

'14 F4 RR ABS Pearly White/ Deep Black (13K miles still rolling, Haha!)
'13 Panigale S ABS (18.5K miles SOLD)
'15 Panigale R (2K miles)
'15 Fireblade SP (1K miles)

Thanks for the input. I do hope MV gets through this but it in encouraging that there are suppliers out there that support these bikes. I have dealt with Evolution Bike for a number of items and have been very satisfied.

I had the money it wouldn't be the thought of MV going tits up that would stop me it would be the thought that suddenly the fog will clear and the F4 replacement would be sitting there in all its vastly improved glory.

In fact if I were MV I'd have that down the cellar somewhere ready to bring out as soon as they got shot of AMG. Call me sneaky if you want.

Haha.....the temptation of the rumoured new 4 cylinder are also something that has held me back but also worry that if they choose to discontinue it altogether that getting the F4rr might be even more difficult to get because of waiting for a newer version.

I currently have a full Bodis system on my 2011 F4 and was wondering if that system can be fitted to a 2016 F4RR. Does anyone know if it fits?

I imagine that it will bolt straight on. However the ECU's on the two bikes are generations apart and in order to ensure best safety you may want to locate a race ECU or get yours remapped.

My late brother lived not far from you from 1993 to 2010 in Medicine Hat and I had the delight of visiting him there 3 times.

Enjoy the new MV

If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends ?

So I have decided to make the leap and purchase a 2016 F4rr in white. Still waiting for delivery (hopefully sometime this week). I will post pics once I have it. I am planning on a few carbon parts. Anyone know how the Evolution Bike carbon matches up to the MV Corse carbon?
