Hi, Thinking about upping my game to an F4RR but cant tell the differences between ones listed as 2015 and the latest (apart from subtle graphics changes). Hoping you can help, especially if their is anything significant to be knowing... Cheers.

From what I heard at the dealer, no more updates on this series, other than cosmetics.

2016 has v3 of the Eldor ECU which means that the up and down quickshift actually work and I am lead to believe that the ECU also has a RACE function which disables ABS. It is also alleged to have semi active suspension that is 1 step better than the 2013/14/15 which all had the v2 Eldor ECU that could not support these features.

Interesting, I have only ridden the std F4, so, are you saying that all the fancy electronic stuff on the pre 2016 RR is a waste?

Also, could someone let me know what bits should come with a new bike, so I make sure I get the best deal.

... Appreciated - thanks, Phil.

From what I've read ( not that much) the 2013 was kind of the shitty fueling and electronics focal point. 2015 seemed to be good and 2016 even better I guess.

That's what happens when you lend your ears out to the wrong people, thanks for the update Allen.

Fantastic! Thanks for the info. I am definitely happy to hear about the clutchless up down working finally! Tried it on the Duc 899 and it was quite a pleasure to use actually.

Just to throw my .02 in...When I got my 2014 RR back from the dealer where they did all the service bulletins and software updates, it runs perfect and the auto shift works effortlessly. If there were issues they've been sorted. As far as upgrades to the electronic suspension adjustments in 2016, that would be a dealer question.

Mine just came back from the dealer after all of the software upgrades and the downshift still does not function.
