Different shift lever?

I went for my first decent ride through the hills yesterday - holy crap, what a bike!
Only one real issue - it was the first time I've worn my normal track boots and they have a heel. My foot rests on the peg just where the start of the heel catches the peg (the sole indent I guess), so my foot is a little bit further back than wearing my street boots.

This has exacerbated the problem I have with the rearsets. I have Corse adjustable plates on the bike and I love the leg room and riding position, but it means the gear shift lever is too short! I've tried every combination possible, but it still means a gear change is a foot off the peg action, rather than a flick of my ankle.

Is there a longer lever available (my preference as I like the current rear set and I don't want to spend massive $$$) or do I have to save up and buy a complete set up where the gear lever pivots off the rear set??

Any other ideas?

P.S. I did a couple of laps of one of my favourite rides. After only one lap this thing was painting black lines on corner exits! I normally only do that kind of stuff on track days. Some serious power going through that back tyre!

Anyone? I'm not having any luck on any of the sponsor sites, and even though I've found some pictures of what I need, I can't find a brand name!

I made my own rear-set lever and linkage after doing the same.
You will probably find that just fitting a longer lever will make the change vague as the travel at the lever peg will increase.
