F4 2014 vs 2015 vs 2016

Hello everyone,
I'm the owner of a F3 800 and I'm kind of tired of the problems that I've had (4x sprag clutch and now the exhaust valve) and I'm thinking to move to a F4, but I'm a bit concerned about few things:
Is there any known issues with the current model? Anything that is failing to everyone?

What's the difference between the model 2014 and 2015? Only the color?

Or should I wait until the next model will be available (2016)? I've heard that they are thinking to redesign the engine. Maybe it will be presented in the EICMA that is coming...

I'm swimming in a sea of doubts , I hope that you could help me.
I have to choose between a BMW S1000RR or a F4, and my F3 does not help

New Site Garage
Are you looking at a standard F4 or F4 R or F4 RR?

I just bought the F4RR and took it for a 1000k ride and loved every second. So far there are no issues except I can't get enough of it!!
I have a brutale corsa as well and now it's tough deciding which one to take out.

I'm thinking in a F4.
The dealer told me that the R is no longer in production and the RR is difficult to get due to Ohlins.

Good to know @Chris

I had the same dilemma. Wanted an F4R as I don't like the idea of the RR having the suspension tied to the clocks. Irrational I know but that's how it is in my head. The RC was out of my price allowance from the wife.

I wondered about waiting for the 2016, even just waiting for spring.

Ended up buying an F4 in pearl white, (Ohlins on the way).

BEST decision of my life (bike wise) not even looked at my GSXR since. Even just cruising down the road it makes you smile. The attention it gets when you park up is unreal, unless someone else turns up on a Bimota you wont be upstaged.

Just get one, you wont regret it, well I haven't.
