F4 RC disappointment

For what I paid for this, I wouldn't have expected that :-
The seat cowl didn't fit.
The seat stitching was faulty.
The bottom part of the fairing is rubbing on the exhaust.
The side panel has a 1cm gap between the air box and itself.
The paint line on the right hand fairing is wiggly.
Some sort of liquid emanating around the top of the air box.

All this after the rumour that MV wouldn't let them out unless they were perfect.

Will Id send the dealer a list of the faults and request they fix them during the first service. That way theyll have the parts ready ahead of time.
Good luck !

Told the dealer today. He says it would be a long drawn out affair ......
I've sorted the seat. The seat cowl has a plastic milk carton spacer on it.
The fairing rubbing on the exhaust, I reckon a slight adjustment of a bracket ( with a hammer ) should sort it.
Don't know how to get the air box / tank shifted, or I'd try and sort that also.
Alternative, give it back. The dealer sells it for 28,999 and I buy an F4RR (2014) colours and I get 10,000 in the bank.

Body panels and mountings can be sorted and is the effect of poor assembly that could have occurred during PDI/prep IMO. The painting is custom done and they may have goofed. I would enjoy the fairing while a replacement one is coming. The real important bits, engine and running gear and electronics, that is the real non negotiables IMO. Hand Built don't forget. Even the RRs are handbuilt but to higher volume series so naturally will have less flaws. I have slight misalignement on the paint elements and its the character of hand painting. Have to understand the nature of these machines they are not widgets out of a factory.

If your dealer says it will be a long drawn out affair, and given your pre delivery experience with them, I would be finding another dealer

Cheers
