Improving instrument cluster readability

Was out riding on a sunny day with the usual difficulty of reading the instrument panel. Pulled into a parking lot to use my phone, took my gloves off and set them on top of the triple clamp. Noticed the cluster was much more readable because the gloves blocked the reflection into the cluster from the silver triple. I then bought some flat black vinyl sign material to stick on the forward edge of the triple, stopping the reflection and making the instruments much more readable.

Had the same problem on my RSV4. It turned out that you can change the angle of the display to cut down on the glare. Black on the front of the triple helps too.
I'll have to look at the F4 & see if this is a possibility.
