LBR Racing Team mit erstem WM-Einsatz zufrieden
Chris Zaiser scarcely past at the first WM point Yves Polzer with good first running result

After the long journey a special challenge for both LBR pilots waited again apart from for the time being fantastic weather. Both Chris Zaiser and Yves Polzer were not completely content with their start in Qatar into the heurige season.

Chris Zaiser: "my goal, into which Qualifyings in superpoles a rank to bring do not have I reached, even if we are not yet so far with the speed of the motorcycle, must that in Phillip Iceland simply inside be here!"

Also the 25-year old Ducati Superport pilot Yves Polzer had other one for its season start on the plan. "Yves Polzer: "I need to become around fast simply still too many rounds - the level in the WM is so so high that one must drive however from the first minute of each training on time."

In the trainings both drivers opportunity had new components to test before it into the Qualifying session to the thing went correctly. Rank 19 after first time training for Zaiser in the class Superbike was not however straight what the 33jaehrige choice upper Austrian imagined. In addition, in the second Qualifying it did not fold with the attack on the superpoles ranks. After further tuning work at the beginning the last Qualifying session it began to rain the last 20 minutes, which did not come an improvement of the starting placement straight against. With starting rank 20 Zaiser had to make friends itself for running Sunday.

Chris Zaiser: "normally a Qualifying is not to be completed in addition there around adjusting travels, but is not differently possible with the abundance at new technical details for the moment. We have to drive on the last minutes of the Qualifyings set over on time, but the weather unfortunately turns over to Phillip Iceland in the minutes pulse, to one moment seems the sun here and in the next moment has you the rain drops at the visor."

Yves Polzer provided its Ducati again for running Sunday in starting row nine.

SBK Race 1:

Like already into first running in Qatar, Zaiser had substantial difficulties with the start. In stop and Go manners it moved its MV Agusta direction curve 1 after the red traffic light went out. As tail light the 33jaehrige Waldviertler went into running. After 22 rounds and accurately 97, 79 km Zaiser on rank became 16 abgewunken.
Chris Zaiser: "the wet clutch of the MVs makes us this year exactly the same to create like the trockenkupplung of the Ducati in the previous year. Here in Australia we cannot react unfortunately any longer, but with the official SBK tests in Valencia in the middle of March we will try this problem into the grasp to get!"

SSP Race:

Yves Polzer's start into its second supersport running could be able to be seen also this time. Directly in curve 1 it could make some places good and for round around round made it further soil good. In the 21 rounds are enough running distance fought it up to rank 23 forwards and showed up with its first running result obviously contently. Yves Polzer: "the set up of the Ducati fit well and I notices, how I feel ever better with it. Still a few tests and I it is confident that it goes further forward!".

SBK Race 2:

Zaiser had to away-put a still worse start than in running 1 this time. Again as absolutely last - and this time already also correctly large arrears - the MV Agusta pilot goes into second SBK running the daily. And again ungrateful 16 the place was it after 22 rounds, which Zaiser did not desire times the one, so hot, WM point brought in. Chris Zaiser: After the short test phase which we had the season ago were it nearly utopian, but I have hoped that we come faster on a good set up. Then the heavy attack comes evenly only into Europe! "

Also team head Helmut Lasselsberger showed up after a running, despite other expectation attitude, very contently. Helmut Lasselsberger: "natural was to be begun it a goal with WMPunkten in the luggage the home journey, however Chris is three times by-scratched and also around only 1 place at the first WM point the 23. Place of Yves is not bad for the beginning. We will start our arrival intensive tests right after over for next running in Donington to be prepared."
