Hey guys, my wife got me a GoPro for Christmas. I’ve attached it to the frame on the right side of the bike. Here’s my first attempt at video editing, riding with a friend. (Thought I might share, its only 5 minutes long) The last bit of the video shows the camera pointing to the rear of the bike.

A few questions –
Has anyone attached a GoPro to the rear of their bike pointing backwards, where did you mount it? (Not keen on using the sticky mounts on paint work)
Is it illegal to attach a camera to your helmet in Queensland?
Can the law confiscate your camera and use it against you? (If it’s showing your speedo or if you cross double white lines)

Mount my GoPro (??LOL) on the rear mirror stem - not many other places to mount without making another bracket...

Don't believe the law can confiscate your camera, unless there is a reason to do so (ie. you capture a crime in progress)
Yes, your camera pics / video can be used as evidence (against you too !)

Good video mate, those little cameras are unreal. I used the suction mount on mine and it is bloody solid and even survived my prang unscathed. As for the constabulary, I`m sure they would be only too happy to use it against you and particularly your mate/s whose number plates are visible (whoops). Well put together vid with the music and fading though.

HaHa, 2 days after christmas and an area that's notorious for cops, not to mention double white lines most of the way.

California is the only State where you can split traffic

go back and read what happened at BubbaI, helicopters and all

look around for traffic penalties in Scandinavia
