Check your brake lights

Noticed recently one brakelight was out, had the rear sidepanel off today so thought I would check the globe type. Globe had simply fallen out of holder. When I checked the other side the globe fell out as I removed the holder from the taillight. Point is they can fall out, not likely the would both at the same time, but probably worthwhile to check your brakelight is working before each ride. (plenty of you probably already do this, but thought it might help the lazy people like me)

The first day I got my bike I was told I had no brake light! I waited a few days until run in and mentioned it to the shop. They said the bulb had blown. 10,000km later and still working. I check it regularly since that first day though.

Mine has had the rear light dead soon, the lone bulb was blown....they must have put another or leds, it's critical during darker days ; I put an orange one in place(was the sole what i had) , it's well red flashing, I ride with a spare in my pockets since.

Just be careful if you are fishing in your pocket for a tic tac then.

Just thought I would rehash this one after I noticed it again on my bike today, and for those who may have missed it.

I had just change to led and notice that it does fall out easy. I had to tape the bulb to the holder so it would stay..
