I attended the 2007 airshow at Edwards, in short it was incredible.

The best part of their show is the remote location, allowing things like breaking the sound barrier and larger craft getting airborne (B2, and B52).

Second best part is it's completely free (well paid for by our tax dollars).

While I love the new aircraft, i have a very soft spot for the radial engines, the sound is intoxicating. My Dad was a belly gunner in a B17. The link http://www.cfdn.org/cf_schedule-wof.htm
I have seen this group of planes 3 times already. They come to Palestine Texas near me and have gotten drunk with the pilots and mechanics twice already!
