OK - I am FURIOUS!!!
I just returned from a job in Australia to find my son has taken the battery from my F4 and swapped it with that of his R6. No biggie but he has put the old battery back and connected it IN REVERSE.... i.e. +ve to -ve. Does anyone know what damage this will do? I've yet to get a new battery and try it but I'm fearing the PC3, loom, ECU and dash may have copped it...... AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! ![]()

Most of the time, it will blow the 40A fuse on the L/H side of the bike.

Got it. Just saw CAG's post on the diode and relay. Confirmed that both 40A fuse has blown and the diode is s/c. Gonna get my son to go buy a couple on 1N4007's from Radio Shack plus a few 40A fuses for my trouble.
Someones gonna be sitting on the bench while his old man does his next track day........

Right there where you found the 40A fuse, L/H side of the bike. Download the manuals from here - http://my.agusta.us/

OK - it's the same one I pulled the fuse from. Just checking there wasn't another little bugger hidden from view....
There's no diode across that relay though, is there?
