Hi Guys,
So I bought a 2005 f4 1000s. I would like to know what are the best and most essential performance upgrades for those bikes. All info is very helpful ![]() |

Have a look here for a head start:

Best performance upgrade is Jenny Craig and the rider skills.

How many times have you had it wide open? Consistantly? Track it alot? If not then imo upgrades are a waste of money.

Best upgrades for performance are track days.
Not sure about the Jenny Craig part. There are lots of fat asses out there that ride circles around me.

Buy a bicycle and start riding it alot. Lot of guys can ride fast the first three sessions of a track day on a hot day. Very few can go fast the last two.

Gearing...go +2T on rear sprocket. This change made my 2010 F4 so much more rideable. Made night and day difference on how the bike drove and pulled thru the gears. Hold on....eye watering quick! I do have to watch how hard I work the throttle especially on cold tires and roads. Nothing like the rear tire slipping as you hit the powerband in a 3rd gear pull to pucker you up!
