Mate of mine got a Panigale and he keeps telling me "You should get one of these!"
To which I reply "You forget - I test rode the Panigale back to back against the F3, and based on that test I got the F3. I know how good the Panigale is. The F3 is better!"

As with any/every purchase decision, it depends on your criteria.

A panigale without electronic assist to calm the beast, it 's almost undrivable on wet or difficult road situations (I forget the tracks)
The F3 is so compact and nimble , you can use HER without any sort of frustration, you can brutalise her to feel when the TC comes in action (very later in normal map> I have to set down to 3 while braking-in (rodage in french)) My older bike is a RSVR 2000' (full Ohlins and OZ wheels), I ride it now on tracks only , I can say that these shape is TOO wide for me (174cm tall), the main difference is the direction colomn higher from the ground(5cm), the levers to apply you steering orders are so imprecise because of the arms lenghts of the components like the fork and angle rake...I think it's the same with the ducati (I got 900SL and ST2 and I tested monsters, 916,955, 888,999,ST3,1098), the CdG is to much at the rear and low...
