It would help if we knew where you lived Peter. Are we talking $199 Fijian Dollars? Aussie or the likely candidate US of A? In which case my equiv. first service at US$155 is looking good.
Anyway, well done on a good purchase and time to clock up more miles. I'm at 6,000 miles now. Oh the pain, another service and rear tire coming up soon right on Christmas. Santa, need cash, where are you...

Yeah. I forgot to add that I thought it was a bargain. The only problem was a buzzy left mirror which they are replacing clomlete under warrentee. I've watched off-an-on reading the various problems people have had and it's a shame, but mine has run great since day One. No mechanical, starting, electrical, or finish problems which is pretty good for a first run bike.

According to the workshop manual you should be using 10W40. Is there a reason why they used a thicker 10W60?

I finally got a response from the dealer. They are using 10W50 in the F3 and mine has the updated ECU. I've had it out a couple of times since getting it back from the service and it runs great, but it ran great before.
