Last Sunday I'm riding along and look down to check my speed and the dash is completely blank, the neutral light and blinker indicator lights are working OK on the outside panel of the dash.
I get home about 60 klms later and turn the ignition off then turn it on and everything is working again and it has added the klms to the odo and trip 1 so that pleases me.
Wednesday the same thing happens again after about 20 klms, I refuel at the end of the freeway (after being followed by the Highway Patrol police) and turn the key and the dash is working again but goes blank again after a few klms. Everything is working fine all the way home later that night.
Anyone else had this problem? Could it be just a bit of a dirty connection somewhere?
It isn't a heat problem because everything was fine last Thursday week when it was at least 35C, I also had a lovely big heat rash on my leg that day.
The bike is only 10 months old so it will be a warranty fix but sure as eggs the dash will be working when I take it in to the shop.
Any suggestions are welcome.

The plug on the back is good at holding water if you've given it a sponge bath. Blow it out with an air compressor or dunk in spirt alcohol and leave it to dry. Give that a go?
