Hi nasos & welcome to the forum. Certainly a very cool little bike that you have there and given that your father bought it new - it will have fantastic sentimental value.
For the carby I would check with these people - http://www.dellorto.co.uk/ I think the speedo will need to be replaced as I doubt you will find the glass & needle - sometime ago on Ebay (Italy) a guy was selling a bunch of parts including speedo & a rear tail light but that listing has ended. You can also join the MV owners Club of UK http://www.mvownersclub.co.uk/index.html and see if they can help, they are an excellent resource for parts and information. These things are not easy to find & require a lot of patience & time. Welcome again & good luck ![]()

Welcome Nasos... You definitely should join the GB club.
They've been a fantastic source of assistance to me with my '55 Turismo Rapido There's a coupla Frenchies here with 60s gtls who I'm sure will chip in with their two centimes worth! Great people here one and all. MVista's tips are excellent as the guys at Dellorto are very helpful but you'll not find a carb body that way. eBay is going to be your best bet. What size carb is that? Maybe I can keep my eyes out for one.... For the speedo you might try http://guzzino.com Good luck! |

Wow! Well here's what you're looking for but this is VERY pricey:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-MV-...item337df3d83f Then again, it's clearly NEVER been used..... |

Great find Jon (no suprise there, you have a talent for these things
) & it's right here in my backyard.Unfortunately those things are expensive as NOS - I bought a model specific one for my GS Vespa at the Novergro scambio in 2010 & paid 400euro for it It hurt but I needed it and had no choice. If you can afford it nasos and really want to restore the bike, I think you may have to endure the pain & go for it. ![]()
