Hi there,

I was thinking about tacking my bike on the track but even putting it naked before I still have the risk of creating lot of damages...

I saw a few Track Day bikes at GBP99 but the MCE one requires UK driving license (I have a French one).

Would any of you recommend a good track day insurance?

Also, it is easy to remove belly and side panels and passener footpeg but what about the mirrors and other small parts? Would anyone have a link that explains what to unscrew?

As for insurance, must companies will have a fitt if they found out you went to a track day and crashed, that's over here in any case.
Some companies would love to ensure you, but only if you went in group 1, as a "learning to improve your riding skills" class.
You will have to ask the UK guys, to make sure.

if you are in england and want personal track day insurance you can use 4counties insurance, they cover most people doing extreme sports.

Thanks for the tip for the manuals. I am not sure about the insurance indeed as I heard that some insurance take pictures of plates to track guys going on track, hance taking an insurance may not be the best option and maybe just removing your plate number and hoping for the best could be the best option.

A long time ago (+15 years), the insurance agents would simply look for the drilled out caliper bolts (you know, for the safety wire). If they found this, they would automatically conclude you tracked the bike and the nightmare would begin from there.

Cool mate, I am sure it will be quite hard to find insurance for the bike. Just don't crash it, much safer on the track in any case.
