hi
A friend has just bought a scrambler and is chasing a couple of parts along with some information. He's after a rear brake light switch and proper handlebars for the last model scrambler. There seems to be a lack of pics for this model, so he's having trouble verifying the type of bars or headlight used along with the correct tail light. this is the tail light on the bike. cheers Russ |

Hard to tell from that angle.... is it like this bike?
a web search will turn up photos (although they may not answer his questions)http://motoprofi.com/bikephoto/3471/...ler_1973_2.jpg

Hi Russ.
The late model Scramblers (known as Enduro in some markets) came in either (very rare) 6 volt or more normaly 12 volt. I assume this is a 12 volt bike. Bikes came with a variety of different fittings so it can be hard to be 100% certain as to what a specific bike would have had fitted. The rear light was either the more normal alloy bodied unit or in this case the later all plastic unit. The actual plate bracket was different for each unit. This and the headlamp can be found in the 350B Electronica parts suppliment. 21326116004 for the lamp and 21326113000 for the front lamp. I might add that either 350B headlamp will fit, either 12 or 6 volt unit. They are both the same small size. You will see the later rear lamp used on a lot of the 350 GT's and some of the very late 350B sports. The rear brake lamp switch is the normal 350B unit, but be careful finding one as some work as pull for on and others pull for off. It is possible, if your careful, to pull them apart and reverse the action btw. I have never seen braced handlebars on a late scrambler, but that doesn't mean that these are wrong. I do have some pics somewhere of the correct bars, pm me if you need them, or better still just drop me an email at the usual address. I have the works records for the Scramblers so if you mate would like to check it, again just ask. Cheers Russ. Dorian. |
