Preparations are underway for the first track day at Palm Beach Int. Raceway. This will be a baseline session to see what I need to do before we race the bike.
Basic removals are done. Except for those shiny reflectors! LOL! ![]() ![]() The steering damper goes on tomorrow. Big thanks to Alex at Gutsy Performance for the help with the damper brackets! Tomorrow I will change out the brake fluid for ATE Blue and drain the antifreeze in favor of the required "Water Wetter" for track use. Break in is pretty much done at 1800 miles on the clock so, time to put in the good stuff... Mobil 1 10w40. I'll post up photos of the damper installation if you guys need to see it again. I'll do a little "How To" as well if anyone wants to see the process. Of course, there will be video from the track sessions with analysis of each and changes made to, hopefully, improve the bikes handling.. Stay tuned..... ![]() |

Sweet - and all the best on track.
How to's are always appreciated (at least by me, anyway). Maybe we can get some stickied threads going for some common tasks. Sent from my iPhone using Motorcycle.com App

Have fun. I'm trying to see if I can squeeze in a track day coming up in 2 weeks but it's 2 days before I head off on 5 days touring on the bike, so between work, family etc it's a bit tight.

Cool man, good luck and have fun.
Carefull on the downshift's, remember it's not one of the Jap 600 screamers, take it easy till you have a slipper clutch. |

![]() ![]() I blip the throttle for downshifts.... just so long as the T-By-W can respond fast enough. So far it works about 80% of the time on the street. We'll see how it does on Sunday. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
