It is not Titanium but rather for cost wise made from Aluminum. Here is the weight difference.

Andrew,have you looked at the ProBolt website.They have a very nice range of Titanium gold coloured bolts.I have spent $100s of dollars with them for bolts on my bike (don't tell my wife),and they don't oxidise like the original bolts.
