I'm on the Moto Guzzi V12 sport Sean. Resplendant with stage one performance exhaust and ecu.. I arrived in Dieppe at 3.00 am UK time and rode until the sun rose over the Somme.I was riding in pitch black rural area and the £ 120.00 I spent on the Garmin Sat Nav was money awfully well spent..Very eerie in the mist.....
Safely in Auchonvillers..Hosts are British and bikers and Dave is a WW1 historian who can paint the picture very well. It was a great welcome when at 6.00am Dave who had been looking out for the incoming biker came out to help me with the luggage and garaged the bike for me and supplied tea... If you have never been here come and see as we really have no idea of just how lucky we are. joe Last edited by gotojoe : 11-10-2012 at 09:56 AM. |

Indeed we are very, very lucky. You are a keen one riding in the pitch black/back of beyond+mist at 3am!!
I would like to go to visit Gallipoli one ANZAC day...think it would be quite sobering. |
