After spending thousands blinging up my brutale 910s, and thousands more in repairs to various electrical problems, I've had enough! After the last round of repairs I promised myself "that if the bike died again, that would be the final straw!"
Cue the much anticipated annual trip from Sydney to Phillip Island for the Motogp.. On the 2nd day, halfway between Sydney and Melbourne in the middle of nowhere my bike dies.. Holy crap! Now I'm up for organising an expensive taxi trip, hire car, flight home and bike freight! I'm so upset and pissed off by it all that I will be fixing the bike and selling it.. I've been burnt so badly by this Brutale 910s and my previous Brutale 750 that I will never buy another MV again! Which is sad because they are brilliantly fun bikes to ride... |

I rode to Phillip Isle last year.5,000km round trip from the Gold Coast.Only thing that went wrong was the fatigue in my body.Sorry to hear about this, but like Richard said who works on your bike,it may not be the bikes fault.

Trooper lus in Sydney have been working on the bike, and been reasonably new to MV's, am not sure of their reputation! It might be that this problem will be small, but i'll never be sure of its reliability in the future..

I hear more good and less bad things about them than somewhere else we won't mention... I do understand your frustration having had a few issues with my MV but sometimes sh1t just happens. Of course they never seem to break at a good time!
I'd find out what the problem is before you throw in the towel... |

None of that sounds too good.
If you have spent that kind of money at Trooper Lu's, they will certainly want to know about it and in particular Justin Chisholm the owner will want to know. I'd go down that path but if you have lost confidence in the bike as a future prospect and consequently the enjoyment of it, then obviously there's no point keeping it. I feel sorry for you, it's never any fun to experience these kinds of problems, hopefully things will work out for you one way or another. Cheers Rob
