Exclamation help!!!!engine noise

Hi everybody,

i have buy MV AGUSTA F4 (i dont know the year or the model) with alternator issues (no charge)that i fixed with replacing the regulator with toyota model (the same plug but in different place ,just a little mode) when i start it it's run great for whille,when riding for 15 Mn i hear a progressive noise on the engine i stop it ,let the engine cold when starting againt no noise i go back home the noise come in again,after several tests i conclude that when cold it's run great but when the engine come hot the noise start,please could you help me with that,i would like to know what cause the issue.

Wow....reminds me of the time a kid called my shop (1979 or there about) and said "My XR70 engine is making a noise...listen"....(and he holds the phone near the bike...I hear a lot of sounds...who knows what).
He comes back on the phone and says "what do you think?"....I said..."Kid, you need to get that bike down here as soon as possible. Stop riding now before it blows up!"

That is kind of where I have to go on this, your first, post.

There is just not a lot of info there to go on. Take the bike to a knowledgeable mechanic and let him look at it. No way we can give any other advice on this forum from what you have told us.....sorry Fouad (I have a foster brother with that name!).

Hi all

good news,i asked the pre owner of the bike he said that it was in garage about 4 years!!!!!!(what kind of rider is this one),at trip counter (no more works)is 17 000 Km,i decided to ride it for a while if it blown i`ll trow it

until now i ride about 2000 klm the noise progressively disappear and its run great , i like it

i need some body to help me :

1-know the model (it`s agusta F4 750 with piton seat) and the year.
2-where i can found a cheap dashboard original or equivalent

Take the bike to a dealer or qualified mechanic.Contact Carl (CAG) on this forum for your instrument panel,and welcome to the forum.

Their should be a compliance tag on the R/H side of the steering head,if not give the VIN number to a dealer,from that they should be able to give you the year model.

The tenth digit of the vin will tell you the year.

the tenth digit is ..... a character, here the full number ZCGF401ABYV002201

one guy told me that the realms are magnesium
