Whats going on everyone!! I'm new to the MV bike world. I have always had GSXR 1000's, CBR 1000's, 900RR, etc for the past 15 years so I decided to go Italian style on that.....lol. So I brought this gorgeous bike in DC in May right before a bike rally and on the last day of the rally I had a silly 5mph slide in the sand that got the right side. The insurance estimate was ridiculous (good thing I had full coverage)
So with all that said I am repairing/upgrading the bike with some new parts and thought I would share some before, during, and after photos of the project. I am hoping to do it all myself accept 1 or 2 things, below is a list of all the replace/upgrades. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. -Right Side Fairing (Original) -R/L Levers and Bar ends (Upgraded to CRG Adjustable and MV Corse Titanium Bar ends) -Front/Rear Seats (Upgraded to MV Corse Red/Black) -Upper Nose Fairing (Paint/Body Shop) -Right Side Tail (Paint/Body Shop) -Right Mirror (Paint/Body Shop) -Air Filter - (Upgraded MWR) -Added Stomp Grip Tank Pads -Carbon Fiber (Upgraded Air Tubes, Heat Shield, Tank Sides, Front Wheel Hugger) -Stock Grips (Upgraded to Rizoma Billet Grips) -L/R Rear Sets (Upgraded to Rizoma Black Ti) -Exhaust Tips (Upgraded to Arrow Aluminum Exhaust tips) -F/R Stock Wheels (Upgraded to MV Corse Forged Aluminum Wheels (Unfortunately Looks like I will have to go to dealer for this) -Stock Exhaust - Collectors to the CAT (Upgraded to MV Agusta Corse Inox Manifolds + ECU) I would like to do this myself as well but not sure if I should let dealer do this also. But man they charge 112hr with an overgrown estimate of 5 1/2 hours just for this and installing the wheels.

So there's all my parts that I will be installing and I will show you guys the finish product when I'm done. So do you think I should install the manifold/ecu??

So I received all my parts and ran into some problems. For one the bar ends I purchased did not fit correctly, and one of the exhaust pipes were bent sent directly from the factory. And guess what the parts were all ordered from Belgium so I will be waiting for another 2 weeks to receive the replacements parts. The only good thing about all of this is, I have learned a lot about my first Italian bike....

Hey everyone, been a while since I updated the transformation man I tell you with work on weekends sometimes it is hard to find time to work on the important things in life like my baby!!
She's almost done, I got the Inox system put on, race ecu, MWR air filter, new exhaust tips (was a bitch to get riveted out, went through 3 titanium bits!, Rizama Grips, Rizama rear sets, custom seats, carbon fiber front hugger and tank panels check-out the custom paint job with that red.. lovely. Still need to finish the right side with the fairing, lost a radiator screw so waiting on it to arrive, waiting on the new shield to come, and also have to put on the new wheels. But wanted you guys to check it out so far and let me know what you think.. Dre

Well with the 2010+ F4 models the tips came in Carbon Tips and they melted/faulted when of course the exhaust got really, really hot. MV knew about it and Arrow suggested these replacements (Aluminum tips so they wont melt and fail) Trust me if you have or thinking about getting a 2010+ model you will want to replace them as they are not covered under warranty..
Thanks for comments!!!

Good catch PHIL.
I hadn't noticed that but then I remembered I hadn't tightened them down yet. But none the less good call. Maybe my left brain was trying to make me be eccentric..lol
