Does the base model has steering damper?

I am pretty sure the base model doesn't has a steering damper, but could someone confirm if it doesn't?

The Special parts catalog lists the Ohlins damper for 560€, which is way too high for a standard Ohlins damper that retails between $300 and $400 in US.

Is there a way to source the Ohlins damper from the Ohlins USA distributor rather than paying more than double to the MV dealer (and possibly waiting for months)?

I think it might takes more than just the damper and this is causing a price difference too.

You could be right, maybe the steering damper mount may have to be sourced from MV, but I think a standard SD121 might fit.

The bracket for the F4 costs around $150 from MV. I guess the F3 mount would be in the same price range. That would still work out way cheaper than getting everything from MV for $1100!!
