and 999R ... "Obviously the problem is with the taxes the country charges, not the actual cost of the bikes.".....Do you actually know that or are you just guessing? Obviously it's not that obvious because I had no clue about that, lol |

The 990r would eat an SF848 wouldn't it? not much of a comparision really. More even comparison to the bigger 1098 SF, but from what I've read the 990r swallows that down whole and spits it out too.
Like many on here I've got a Ducati as well, so not biased toward either brand, but even the old brutale had the edge on the SF series, so the new Brutes are a lot better.

Hi Uuwik, I'm new in this forum, I do have an MV Agusta Brutale 910 2007 for sale if you're interested. =) Plus financing is available.
I have tried both the SF and Brutale, and for Jakarta traffic, I would go with the Brutale. The distance for its handlebar is definitely closer vs SF, therefore, it makes it more upright and comfortable position especially for Jakarta traffic. Plus the smooth inline vs jerky vs twin? =) However, the steering is a bit more heavy vs SF 848. Thanks! Hope its helpful and didn't sound like a smart@$$ here. =) |

- GST 10% - Import Tax 40% on Build Up Vehicles - Income Tax 2,5% on Motorcycles - Luxury Tax 75% (over 600cc) - Registration approx 10% Sum those up with the unit price ... and you'll get the bike's price. Hehehe... |

That must be the biggest BS I've heard in a very lond time, the only way a 999R swallows a 1098SF is only if it blows it first or if the SF has the kickstand down!
