good supply of spares spares kept at dealers without the "Lean Sigma" Toyota route actually what I want is another F4 EV03 750 what I dont want is to listen to a year or two's hype about a new bike that you never see for a couple of years, went through that process in 2003 awaiting to F4 1000 which never arrived, got fed up waiting and bought the EV03, so glad I did at the time too. But in todays climate with the situation in Italy, the situation with MV, I will not be buying a new bike from them until they can prove reliability, good customer service and spares back-up, Ive bought 2 brand spank new bikes direct from MV dealers so I have contributed, but today there are many other bikes I admire that can provide the back-up mv cannot. Today, its a buyers market and there will be a lovely choice of bikes coming into play a low mileage Duc 848 would be nice for me also and with the amount of orders Ducati are taking for the lovely new Penigale I will see what comes available I do agree I have been pesimistic but 8 years of MV ownership have made me this way, lovely bikes but lack of back-up & dealers Must admit this forum has made me a bit pesimistic over the years also, thats why I only log on whilst sitting on an oilrig now. sat and watched many come and go, many new faces, sadly long gone are the days of mvagustaf4.com but what the heck, all in all this is still a good forum . and admit it, you do need a few whingers, you want us all to log on and say "oh god, how awsome" awsome man, to every post. okay who want's a "rogering" ol boy Last edited by F41NXS : 11-17-2011 at 03:17 PM. |

I completely agree with you about the spares, dealer network and after sales back-up. Much more could be done here and if they don't succed to back it up after sales, buyers wil lgo away in the case of the F3.
But you can't say that don't release new bikes. B3 even had some carbon parts on at EICMA, which they will be Corse parts, so they are preparing themselves. |
