My 2001 F4 hit the wall of the trailer and the front brake lever snapped off about 2" from the ball end(0 degrees F outside!)
Still useable, but I'd like to replace it for cosmetic & safety reasons. I was shocked to find out new ones are quite expensive. Are there any decent alternatives to the OEM pieces that would be less expensive? Anyone have a spare from a radial upgrade? Dave |

You used to have to buy the entire master cylinder when the lever broke. The dealers now should be able to get just the lever. I'm not aware of any aftermarket levers. CRG considered them at one point, but last I heard they were having a hard time keeping up with current supply demands.
There was a lever advertised on a German Web site, but it didn't look compatable to the stock MC to me. I'd just count myself lucky that I don't have to buy the whole MC and visit a dealer. ![]()

You might try ASV, I was able to source some levers from them as well.
