Dorian the rear brake is cable operated and works pretty well. Altough the Ceriani front brake outperforms the rear by far. In a way where I think the stock rear drum is kind of obsolete.
Plus I'm still busy with sorting the gears. This bike offers now the third shift pattern to me. Right foot, first down, the others up.

Very interesting, how do you find that Ralf?

I was following an old guy on Triumph (late 60's I think scrambler style looked gorgeous) in traffic & I noticed that was his shift pattern - I didn't know Triumph had that shift pattern on the right.

I go from left to right every second ride on my MVs & I find completely natural but I must say a reverse/reverse (I guess you would call it) right shift would completely throw me (at pace).

Sorry i didn't want to find fault with your lovely bike. It's just that no scrutineer i know would pass it with the arm at that angle. Once past 90 degrees of the actuation (cable in this case) the mechanical advantage decreases dramaticaly.

Rob, i'm the same, i can swap between left and right foot change easily, untill i get on my Laverda SFC which has a right one down as Ralf was mentioning. I even have it written on the top yoke to remind me and still get it wrong!!
