I figure this is one more tool I'll be needing for sure. I planned on buying on of the Knurls Ride Height Tools, but after Comparing the OEM part numbers from the earlier year F4's (pre-2010), I see that they changed the part# for the 2010 tool, leading me to believe that the dimensions for that tool have changed for 2010+ bikes.
part# 800093347 for Pre-2010 F4's (retail $240.54) part# 8000B44413 for 2010+ F4's (part # not recognized by system??) I checked the part number three times. It's comes-up an invalid part number on Pro Italia's site. Anyway, even if my Dealer can get it for me, I'm not paying $250.00 for that Tool when The Knurl's sells for around $100. What do you say Noel? |

I have got one of Noel's tools and it fits into the side plates.
I have not compared it to the 2010 official tool, but obviously the extra length in the 2010 swingarm means that the measurement point is further back on the tool. Interestingly, I found that the bike was set ex factory 10mm lower ride height than the book spec. |

the '10+ swingarm is 20mm longer than the <'10 bikes EXCEPT for the Mg race swing arms which are 20mm longer too
engine, frame and side plates are the same so the tool should be the same except for the mark being 20mm farther back if there is enough interest in ride height tools from the '10+ group I'll make the next ones with 2 arrows marking the measuring points for both generations...... otherwise just measure back 20mm from the laser cut arrow point I have an '10 swingarm on my '05, so I understand ![]() price? $75 at my house, but you don't get my trick rebuilt wine box LOLOL $85 stateside $95 worldwide
