Default Salt on UK roads again

Well, just came back from Liverpool to be met by two gritting lorries.
That's another day / week we can't ride just in case the MV's of this world dissolve.

Here's hoping for warmer weather and rain to wash it away.

The people around here (hippies) dont use salt, they use sand. It never washes away as it doenst rain hard enough to carry away sand. The sand piles up off line, especially in intersection. Salt is a little slick until it rains a few times and it's corrosive but its better safer than sand.
